"The purpose of this website is simply to educate parents on all of the data -uncensored"
As a responsible parent wading through all the data being provided to you, trying to decide what’s best for your child can be a daunting task. No one has to tell you that being told that your child requires a very strong drug is a valid reason for much caution and concern.
The situation becomes even more worrisome when you find out that the majority of the data you have been given has been provided by pharmaceutical companies. One must question the element of vested interest when you see the billions of dollars these companies are making from the sale of these drugs. That is why this website ‘A Parents Right to Know’ was created. To assist parents by providing them with vital data which is not broadly available.
We have provided a website to educate parents, to give them information they probably didn’t get when the medication was recommended. You need to have this information before making a major decision like giving your child a powerful drug. There are many medical doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists and scientific experts who challenge the scientific validity of these same disorders. They are warning people of some very serious side effects of the medications being prescribed.
The purpose of this website is simply to educate parents on all of the data -uncensored, in order for you to make an informed, educated decision. We welcome your feedback and will try to answer any questions you may have. If we can’t answer your question, we’ll find someone who can.
It is our sincerest wish that you attain a much greater understanding of this subject and that by having all the information can make a wise and informed choice for your child. Your purpose is to do all you can to ensure your child lives a happy, healthy life. We share that purpose with you.
It takes courage to speak up when all one hears from psychiatrists, psychologists and other experts, especially those affiliated with schools, is that drugging children is a proven and perfectly safe method of handling fancied learning and behavioral difficulties, that the parents would be irresponsible in not drugging their child and that the expert "medical" opinion is based on irrefutable science. In fact, it can sometimes feel like fighting a solitary war against impossible odds.
Nevertheless, the worst thing that parents can do is to ignore their instincts in the matter and give in to the weight of false mental health industry propaganda, whether to keep the peace, avoid a fight, toe the school line or stay out of the limelight. Millions of parents have done this and millions of children now suffer. Parents have every right to be parents. Parents have the right to know and MUST fight back.
